BTV-Number One Cup to kick off in Binh Duong
The BTV-Number One Cup, now an international football event of the FIFA and AFC tournaments, will be held at Go Dau Stadium in Southern Binh Duong Province from November 20-29.

The host country with 4 teams including SHB Da Nang, Song Lam Nghe An, T&T Hanoi and Becamex Binh Duong will compete with Lifan Chongqing from China, MFK Petrzalka from Slovakia, Duque De Caixias from Brazil and Kampala City from Uganda.

Slovakia’s MFK Petrzalka, the most prominent rival, held the top-ranked Italian team Juventus Torino to a goalless draw in last year’s Champions League. Uganda’s team is also a strong opponent, having topped their domestic league 8 times.

The winners will get a cash prize of US$20,000 and a Lifan sedan, the runners-up US$10,000 and the third team US$5,000.
