Can Tho develops high-tech agricultural sector
Can Tho City is busy carrying out 5 projects to achieve higher standards to ensure its agricultural sector will develop in a more efficient and sustainable manner.

Out of a total of VND3,138 billion investment capital, 70 percent has already been mobilised from the state budget.

From now until 2015, the city will comprehensively improve its agricultural production to increase the quality and competitiveness of its agricultural products.

The city has also given the go-ahead to a project to build 3 hi-tech agricultural areas that will apply new technologies to advertise and commercialise its agricultural products.

Can Tho is also implementing steps to improve the quality of its top grade rice to meet with world food safety hygiene standards.
