Construction of Vietnam’s tallest building starts
The Hanoi People’s Committee and the Korean Lottie Group on October 22 held a ground-breaking ceremony for construction of a 65-storey building on Dao Tan street in Hanoi following the Vietnam visit by the President of the Republic of Korea.

Present at the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Nguyen Duc Kien, the RoK Ambassador and leaders of Hanoi City and the Lottie Group.

Covering on more than 14,000sq.m, the Hanoi City Complex is divided into two blocs, including a shopping centre, hotel, luxury apartments, offices and other services with an investment capitalisation of US$400 million.

The complex demonstrates the close ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea in the process of national modernisation. It is expected to be put into use in December 2012.
