Participants in the event are teams from Hanoi, HCM City, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dong Thap, Kontum, and Police Schools No 4 and 5 for juvenile criminals in Long An and Dong Nai.
The teams will compete in a round robin format in two groups. The two teams with the leading scores in each group will qualify for the semifinals.
Like its five predecessors, this year’s tournament is for young boys up to 14 years old learning and living in orphanages, houses for street children, and police schools for reeducating juvenile criminals.
