Government adopts action plan to develop services
The Government has set four key tasks for the 2009-2011 period with a focus on finance, customs, securities, legal service, arbitration trade reconciliation, transport, science and technology, information and communications, human resources development and construction.

The Prime Minister has approved the Government’s action plan with the aim of sharpening the competitiveness of the service sector, promoting international economic integration, accelerating the implementation of Vietnam’s WTO admission commitments and fulfilling its socio-economic development targets for the 2006-2010 period which will be serve as a premise for future development.

The action plan aims to mobilise all resources for economic development, improve the quality of human resources in the service sector and develop services as well as protecting natural resources and the environment.
