Int’l SOS helps Vietnam boost health development
The successful operation of International SOS, a medical service provider, has contributed to the socio-economic and healthcare development in Vietnam, said Minister of Health Nguyen Quoc.
Speaking at a meeting to review 20 years of operation of International SOS in Vietnam on November 21, Mr Trieu said that International SOS, whose clients are mainly foreign expatriates, has helped set tourists and investors’ mind at rest, and stabilise the investment environment in Vietnam.

He called for a closer coordination between Int’t SOS and Vietnamese emergency aid centres.

OSCAT/AEA Vietnam, a precursor of International SOS, was licensed in Vietnam in 1989. A wholly foreign-owned enterprise, International SOS now provides medical services to over 1,000 companies, representative offices, diplomatic offices and international organizations in Vietnam.
