Int’l kite festival in Ba Ria-Vung Tau
Over the past two days, tens of thousands of domestic and foreign visitors have had the chance to see artisans from 17 countries and territories demonstrate their skills at an international kite festival in the southern province of Ba Ria Vung Tau.

The opening ceremony on March 27 left a good impression on spectators with performances by Lam Hoac -- an overseas Vietnamese from Canada --, Jean Paul Richon from France, Andreas Fishchbacher from Germany, and Nguyen Huy and Nguyen Duc from Vietnam.

The festival is one of the nine cultural and tourism events that Ba Ria-Vung Tau has planned to launch this year to promote its tourism potential and attract visitors to the province.
