Major economic establishments and projects get inspected
Next year, the Government’s Inspectorate will inspect a number of economic establishments and large-scale projects for socio-economic development.

They include the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinahsin), the Bao Viet Finance-Insurance Group, the General Department of State Reserves, the resettlement of people making way for the two hydro-electricity power projects at Ya-ly and Son La, several construction investment projects, the Ministry of Health’s management of drugs and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

Regarding the banking sector, in the third quarter of this year and in October, the Government’s Inspectorate reported to the Prime Minister on the implementation of subsidised loan programmes for organisations and individuals as part of the Government’s stimulus package. The PM will allow the Government’s Inspectorate to inspect some commercial banks in the future.
