Mexico hopes to boost cultural cooperation with Vietnam
A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh Museum led by its director Chu Duc Tinh paid an official visit to the city of Mexico from November 1-7.

During the meeting, the director of Mexico city’s historical centre, Alejandra Moreno Toscano, expressed his hope to promote cultural cooperation with Vietnam through exhibitions and exchange activities.

Mr. Toscano also dealt with the maintenance of the Ho Chi Minh cultural building in Mexico City, a symbol of the solidarity, friendship and coopereation between the two countries.

On the occasion, Isabel Molina, director of cultural relations for Major Marcelo Abrard, proposed organising a Vietnamese week in Mexico.

As part of the visit, the Vietnamese delegation laid a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh statue in Freedom park of Mexico and visited some cultural and tourist sites and museums in the city.
