Miss World 2008 welcomed in Vietnam
Miss World 2008, Ksenia Sukhinova, arrived in Nha Trang city on January 8 to attend the 28th National Television Festival, which is taking place in the central province of Khanh Hoa.

The beauty queen was welcomed at Cam Ranh airport by the director of the Khanh Hoa provincial radio and TV station, Ho Hong Son, who is also head of the festival’s organising board.

From the airport, Ksenia Sukhinova, together with Hoang Kieu, general director of the RASS Company, and Julia Morley, head of the Miss World committee that organizes the event, went to the radio and TV station to take part in the 2009 Nha Trang International Film Festival.

Miss World 2008 will join a Gala Dinner on the evening of Jan. 8 and participate in an exchange with Vietnamese artists on Jan. 9.

As scheduled, Ksenia Sukhinova will engage in a charity programme and a number of cultural activities to raise fund for underprivileged children in Vietnam.

This is Ksenia Sukhinova’s first trip to Vietnam for charity work in her one-year reign as Miss World 2008.
