Music concert promotes Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties
The music concert, as part of a programme named “A million hearts-one rhythm” was held at Phan Dinh Phung Competition House in Ho Chi Minh City on December 30.

The concert was one of cultural activities to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The event drew the participation of big names from the Japanese and Vietnamese youth music scenes, including Vietnamese singers Ho Quynh Huong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Ha Anh Tuan, Tra My and Japanese singers Yoko Asami, Shion Miyawaki and the band Gypsy Queen.

The concert was co-organised by the Vietnam National Song, Dance and Light Music Theatre, Tri Thien Communication Company and A Chau Friendship Company with the support of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Also on December 30, a charity concert was held at the Lan Anh Music Stage to raise funds for 300 orphans who were being brought up by Que Huong Humanitarian Centre in southern Binh Duong province.
