Quang Binh, Savanakhet cooperate in socio-economic development
A delegation led by Vilayvan Phomkhe, Secretary of Lao Savanakhet provincial Party Committee paid a visit to leaders of Vietnam’s Quang Binh province on November 2.

Both sides agreed that the relationship between the two provinces has significantly improved in recent years. They have exchanged experiences and information through the exchange of visits by many high-ranking delegations and have closely cooperated in national defense, security and border control.

They will promote public awareness of the need to control border and combat illegal immigration and smuggling of drugs, explosives, flammable materials, and weapons.

Next year, five Laotian pupils will come from Savanakhet to study in Quang Binh province.
