RoK-invested train runs on Gia Lam –Ha Long route
An express train owned by the Dongrim Railway Transport Co. Ltd of the Republic of Korea was launched at Gia Lam Railway Station in Hanoi on April 10.

The first wholly foreign-invested train in Vietnam departed from Gia Lam station  at 07.05am and arrived in the tourist resort city of Ha Long, Quang Ninh province, at 12.00. It left Ha Long City at 15.00 and got into Gia Lam station at 20.05 the same day.

All the carriages, imported from the RoK, are equipped with luxury seats, LCDs and restrooms meeting international standards. The train also has a 24-seater mini-bar which offers a variety of drinks and dishes.

Tickets cost US$15 for foreigners and US$5 for Vietnamese.
