Russian Institute receives Vietnam’s Friendship Order
The All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) has been awarded Vietnam’s Friendship Order in recognition of its contributions to training Vietnamese actors and actresses over the past decades.   

Bui Dinh Dinh, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia, presented the Order to VGIK Rector Vladimir Malyshev at a ceremony in Moscow last week.

The awards ceremony took place within the framework of the 29th international VGIK festival in Moscow from November 2-7.    

The VGIK, the first film school in Russia, was founded in 1919.
