Sprinter grabs silver at Asian Champs’ 200m event
Vietnam’s top athlete Vu Thi Huong finished second in the women’s 200m final with a time of 23".61 at the Asian Athletics Championships in Guangdong, China on November 13.  

Japanese Momoko Takahashi triumphed with a performance of 23”53 while Lan Jiang from China took the bronze with 23”65.

In the women’s 800m final event, the bronze went to Vietnam’s Truong Thanh Hang with a time of 2’05”33.  Zhou Hainay of China won the race with 2’04”89, followed by Matsko Margarita of Kazakhstan with 2’05”31.

The Vietnamese team raced in the women’s 4x100m relay finals on November 14.
