Students to receive free eye treatment
Nearly 30,000 high school students in four localities will receive free eye check-up, consulting services and medicines under a programme launched on March 9.

The “Taking Care of Eyes for Students 2010” programme is carried out by the Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital in cooperation with the Central Eye Hospital and the sponsorship of Japanese pharmaceuticals and cosmetics producer Rohto Mentholatum Vietnam Co Ltd.

The VND1.3 billion programme will be implemented until April 4 in Hanoi , HCM City , Binh Thuan and Gia Lai.

Rohto Mentholatum Vietnam Co Ltd said it will expand the programme to other localities in the country.
