Timetable set up for 25th SEA Games
The organising board of the 25th SEA Games has announced that the men’s football event will start on December 2. Vietnam’s U23 team is placed in group A with Thailand, Malaysia, East Timor and Cambodia.

On December 4, 6 and 11, the U23 teams from East Timor, Malaysia and Cambodia will play the Vietnamese team. The two football matches of the semifinals will be held on December 14. The final will take place three days later.

Meanwhile, the five teams in the women’s football event will begin on December 4. Two days later, on December 6, Vietnam will play its first match against Malaysia.

On December 8, 11 and 13, the Vietnamese team will meet with teams from Myanmar, Thailand and the host country, Laos, on December 16. The top two teams will play the final match for the gold medal.
