The Qatar Football Association (QFC) has invited Vietnam’s U16 National Football Squad to play two young teams from the Aspire Football Centre on December 15 and 17.
The invitation was prompted by the team’s brilliant performance at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-16 Championship 2010 where they passed the qualifying round in Group G along with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
This will be an excellent opportunity and a reward for the determination of head coach Hoang Van Phuc’s boys as Aspire is considered one of the world’s leading training venues for young footballers.
To prepare for the matches in Qatar, the U16 team will train at the Vietnam Training Centre for Young Football Players on December 7 and will arrive in Doha, Qatar, in the following week.
