VRC further aids flood victims
The Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) on November 9 sent more relief aid to flood victims in the central provinces of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa.

Phu Yen was provided with 2,000 containers of goods, clothes and lifebelts apart from VND250 million in cash.

Previously, from November 4-8, VRC’s Vice President, Phung Van Hoan, led a task force to provide 700 containers of goods and VND300 million in relief aid for flood victims in those 3 provinces.

Members of the Red Cross societies in Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa are coordinating with local authorities to evacuate local people from danger areas, providing first aid for flood victims and helping people repair their houses and transport goods.
