Vatican delegation visits Vietnam
A delegation from the Vatican led by the Undersecretary of State for Relations with States, Pietro Parolin, began a week-long visit to Vietnam on February 15, announced the Government Committee for Religious Affairs at a press briefing in Hanoi on February 16.

During the visit, the delegation will attend a joint working group’s first session to discuss the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Vatican and Vietnam.

The delegation will hold cultural and religious exchanges to promote mutual understanding. It is scheduled to visit the Protestant Church (Northern Vietnam), the Presbyterian Church of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the tunnels at Cu Chi.
