Vietnam International Medical Exhibition opens
More than 200 domestic and foreign businesses took part in the fourth Vietnamese International Medical Expo, which opened in HCM City on September 23.

Displayed on more than 300 stands are a wide range of products including pharmaceuticals and chemicals, packaging designs and laboratory equipment for diagnosis, ophthalmology and odontology.

There is also a section providing information on the prevention of diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, dengue fever, acute diarrhea, and A/H1N1 flu to make visitors fully awareness of the need to protect their health.

In an interview on the sidelines of the exhibition, Pavel Rychtecky, export director of the Czech Republic’s Walmark Company described Vietnam as a great potential market, saying that the event has given his company a good opportunity to introduce new products to health officials, pharmacists, wholesalers and other visitors.
