Vietnam air services win int’l award
The Vietnam Air Transport Company has won an award from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for being the most improved air service supplier.

This is one of the four awards presented by the IATA at its annual congress at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Vietnamese company was set up in 2008 by restructuring the air traffic control centre belonging to Vietnam Airlines. Beside air services, it also assembles, repairs and maintains aircraft equipment as well as producing spare parts and transferring aviation technologies.
