Vietnam and Cambodia border provinces boost cooperation
The Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee on February 9 held an exchange meeting with Cambodia’s border provinces of Kongpong Cham, Prayveng and Svayrieng.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides discussed cooperation activities to help each other strengthen economic development, defence and social security and combatting social vices.

** The same day, a ceremony was held in Binh Phuoc province to rebury the remains of 60 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died in Cambodia.

The remains were found in the provinces of Karatie and Kompongthom during the dry season of 2009-2010 by soldiers of the Binh Phuoc Army Headquarters and Military Zone VII. Three individuals have been identified and two of them have been handed over to their families.
