Vietnam attends 24th Asian International Art Exhibition
The 24th Asian International Art Exhibition (AIAE) opened at the National Art Museum in Malaysia on November 20, drawing the participation of 13 countries and territories in the Asian region.

Two hundred and five artworks are being displayed, including those by nine Vietnamese artists.

The exhibition will last until January 31, 2010.

The annual event, organised by the Asian Arts Federation, aims to promote contemporary art exchanges among Asian countries. Artists participate in the exhibition voluntarily and self-support for all expenses.

Vietnam has participated in the exhibition since 1995. It has been nominated by the Asian Arts Federation to host an AIAE in 2012.
