Vietnam hopes to secure bronze medal at in Monaco int'l Taekwondo tournament
The Vietnamese Taekwondo team topped group B after defeating Nigerian and Senegalese rivals in the International Taekwondo Tournament in Monaco.

The squad of four smashed Nigeria 4-0 in the first match before beating Senegal 3-1.

In group A, France also gained two wins over Morocco and Canada to take the lead.

 

According to general secretary of the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation Truong Ngoc De, Vietnam hopes to win the bronze medal in the semi-final match against Morocco even after Nguyen Van Hung, who competed in the men's over-80 kg, suffered a knee injury.
