Vietnam joins music festival for the disabled
A festival for disabled musicians will take place from August 31 to September 4 in Gyeonggi in the province of Gyeonggido, the Republic of Korea.

A Vietnamese delegation will be led by Vo Thi Hoang Yen, the director of Disability resource and Development.

Besides Vietnam and Korea, the festival has attracted handicapped artists from Bangkok (Thailand), Brisbane (Australia), Hong Kong (China), Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Jakarta (Indonesia), Johnor Bahru (Malaysia), Manila (Philipines), Nara (Japan), Singapore, Shanghai (China), Mongolia and Nepal.

The musicians who take part in the festival will be asked to perform their own compositions.

Participating delegations will meet on September 1 to discuss holding concerts for disabled people in each of the cities.
