Vietnam ranks first at SEA Youth Table Tennis Tournament
Vietnam won five gold, one silver and two bronze medals, ranking first at the 2009 Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Tournament in Thailand.

The Vietnamese team bagged gold medals in the men’s singles and doubles, and in the mixed doubles events for the under-18 age group. The fifth gold medal was scooped up in the women’s singles event for the under-15 age group.

The tournament was held from June 18-22 with the participation of table tennis players from eight regional countries. They competed in seven events for the under-18 age group and two events for the under-5 age group.
