Vietnamese pupils in Germany praised for academic record
A recent survey by the German Immigration Office indicates that 68 percent of second generation overseas Vietnamese in Germany passed the national secondary graduation examination with high grades to enter university.

German newspapers recently praised Vietnamese pupils Nguyen Duc Son, Tong Quynh Duyen, and Nguyen Thanh Nam in the district of Zwickau for their excellent academic results.

Although most of the 800 Vietnamese people in Zwickau work as small merchants, chefs and welders, their kids set a very high scholastic standard.
