Vietnamese singer to attend “ASEAN + 3 Concert for the King”
Pop singer Minh Quan, who is also an artist on Radio the Voice of Vietnam, will represent Vietnam at a music festival to be held at the Cultural Centre in Bangkok on May 22.

The news was released at a press conference held in Bangkok on May 20 to announce the festival tilted “ASEAN+3 Concert for the King”. Singers from ten ASEAN countries and three dialogue countries including China, the Republic of Korea and Japan will attend the programme.

Minister of the Prime Minister’s office Sathit Vongnontoi said that the event offered an opportunity to strengthen relations among nations within the ASEAN bloc, and between ASEAN and the three dialogue countries as well as promoting cultural exchange.

Addressing the press conference, singer Minh Quan expressed his wish to strengthen friendship among all nations within the region so that through unity they might be able to overcome their common problems more easily.
