Vinacomin completes issuing bonds worth VND1.5 trillion
Citibank Vietnam and the Vietnam Coal-Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) have completed their second issuance of VND1.5 trillion worth of bonds.
Vinacomin Director General Tran Xuan Hoa said on May 26 that the bonds will help his group pool capital from various channels, enabling it to develop more strongly to serve the country’s growing demand for energy.

Citibank said that this has been the second largest issue on the internal bond market since its re-opened earlier this year.

In 2007, Citibank was the sole arranger for Vinacomin’s first bond issue worth VND1.5 trillion.
