Ways of adapting to climate change discussed
A number of environmental specialists and local officials had the opportunity to exchange ideas on how to make the nation’s cities adapt to climate changes at a national conference held in Hanoi on November 26.

Participants in the conference, entitled “Asian cities deal with climate change”, focused their discussions on the impacts of climate change on major Vietnamese cities and other related issues.

They also explored current financial support strategies that help developing nations adapt to climate change and looked at ways of safeguarding urban areas.

The conference, jointly organised by the National Institute of Technological and Scientific Strategy and Policy, will close on November 27.
