Young Vietnamese German pianist accepted to Frankfurt College of Music
A 14-year-old Vietnamese German pianist Pham Nguyen Lan Phien has successfully passed an exam to earn the Frankfurt College of Music and Performing Arts, Germany.

Phien will become the youngest piano student at the College and continue to study with professor Irina Edelstein, who has been instructing him for several years already.

The contest attracted the participation of 70 students from different countries, mostly from China, the Republic of Korea and Japan.

For many years, his parents have poured considerable money and efforts and encouraged him to study the piano, with which he is gifted. His parents said that it costs them around US$10,000 each month to develop his talent.
